Utilizing approx. 18,600 sq ft of production area, our steel and gray iron foundry melts "charge" in two 600 KW induction furnaces that have a capacity of 3,000 pounds each.

Metallurgical analysis is accomplished with a spectrograph.

This system produces cast steel, alloyed cast steel, and class 30/40 gray iron. Abrasion-resistant castings are produced in a chilled iron or white iron, with chrome, nickel, and moly additives.

Finished castings range in size form just a few ounces to a maximum size of 5,600 pounds.

This department pours gray irons and low carbon steel. An in-house pattern shop provides pattern repair as well as new patterns. No-bake molding, induction melt and spectrograph analysis are done on all heats. The 8' wheelabrator, several grinding stations and a 5-ton overhead crane provides a finished product.
